Custom Lapel Pin Options
Almost any custom lapel pin can be plated with precious metals like gold, silver, brass and nickel. These metals are electroplated onto a base of bronze, copper, iron, stainless steel or aluminum and polished to a shiny finish. Black nickel plating is actually a dyed version of nickel plating and is mostly used as a border for pins with color. Most of the plating examples below can be combined with enamel colors. The major exceptions are the antique finished custom pins. Also, many designs will lend themselves better to one finish or another.

Custom numbering, printing, and engraving is a great way to add a little more personalization to your custom pins. Serialized limited edition lapel pins can have numbers laser engraved or stamped on them. We can also print text and images on pins so that they can be customized, but still all share the same mold and keep costs down. This works great for badges and pins for people that have different ranks or titles, so everyone can get a custom pin with their rank, title, or even their name on it.
Each Custom pin ships in it’s own poly bag unless specialty packaging is purchased.
There are many excellent options for packing and displaying your Custom Lapel Pins. Available at many different price points, each one serves a unique purpose. From Presentations cards to plastic Jewelry Boxes to plush Velvet Pouches, we offer a wide variety of choices and easy explanations of when they are appropriate to use.
A butterfly clutch comes standard on all pins unless otherwise specified.
Each custom lapel pin needs something to keep it attached to the apparel item: clothing, hat, bag, etc. The attachment is designed to stay hidden from view and the backing is not visible when worn. More often than not, the standard butterfly or military clutch will be used, but we will help if you want to consider something different.
There are several options available that serve specific needs and price points.
